VIDEO GAMES HAVE A BAD REP.

Society has been demonizing video games for years, but there
are real benefits to gaming for those with multiple sclerosis.

It’s time to highlight how the medical community can use the Nintendo Switch to power up and make living with MS just a little bit easier.

Switch Therapy promotion will begin at the E3 Expo, one of the largest trade events in the gaming community.

GETTING TO THE NEXT LEVEL

On the Nintendo Switch microsite, people can sign a petition in support of getting the Nintendo Switch covered by insurance for MS patients.

All profits from Nintendo Switch Therapy fundraising efforts will be donated to the National MS Society.

STREAM FOR SWITCH THERAPY

Nintendo Switch will partner with gaming influencers for a virtual fundraising event. The event will take place on March 13th, kicking off National MS awareness week.

Twitch streamers will generate donations for the National MS Society and encourage followers to visit the Switch Therapy microsite, where they can pre-order a limited edition Switch and sign the petition.

With orange being the official color for MS awareness, Nintendo will create a limited edition Nintendo Switch colorway that will be released on March 20th, concluding National MS Awareness week.

CREATING CONNECTIONS

The Switch Therapy App is exclusive to MS support group members and those connected with the National MS Society. Users can watch tutorials, create gaming schedules, direct message friends, and live voice chat while playing.

The Nintendo Switch Therapy subscription box will be accessible for MS patients to access new games, accessories, and more each month.

SWITCH THERAPY X MAYO CLINIC

To conclude the campaign, Nintendo Switch will create a gaming lounge for the Mayo Clinic Hospital Methodist Campus, one of the top MS care facilities in the U.S. This gaming lounge will make the Nintendo Switch easily accessible for the MS community to experience benefits of gaming and Switch Therapy.
